Victor & Darliz
The Bridal Party
This page is dedicated to my (Darliz's) bridesmaids!!

Please take a moment to get to know the girls that have played such a special role in my life. These girls are some of my best friends and have been there for me through thick and thin. I can't say in words how much they mean to me... and I know they will be a part of my life forever.

Diana Gallegos

Victor's eldest sister

Diana has been a close friend of mine for as long as I can remember. We have so many great memories together, including happpy times on service, hilarious times in Mexico, being my favorite dance partner at countless parties, and always being there to offer guidance and comfort through heartbreak. Diana, thank you for being there.. I'm so excited to call you my sister!
Cynthia Gallegos

Victor's sister, mother of my only (future) niece

In the time I've gotten to know Cynthia, she's become someone truly special in my life. She is such a gentle, caring person that she's always refreshing to be around. Her baby girl, and my future niece, Jocelyn, is the most beautiful little girl I know, and I love her so much! Thank you, Cynthia, for opening your arms to me, I love both of you and can't wait to see baby Jocelyn grow up! I know she will be my favorite niece! ;)
Summer Sherrell

My childhood inseparable friend

What can I say... Summer and I go back, way back. When she lived in Eagle Pass, she and I were like peanut butter and jelly. Even though she lives elsewhere now, we still share the same warmth, and anytime we see each other it's like we just pick up where we left off. Summer, I love you, I couldn't have made it without you!
Letisha Sayles

"A true companion is loving all the time..."

Ever since Letisha and I became friends, she has always been a TRUE friend. I could always feel her love for me, and she has always been there to listen, no matter what it was about. Friends like you are hard to come by... I love you girl :)
Crystal Crowder

My spiritual "daughter"

During the time that Crystal and I studied the Bible together, she became so much more than just my student.. she became one of my best friends. I treasure the memories I have of staying at her house for hours, just talking, or being silly together... and all our times out on service together... I love you Crys!
Jessica De La Garza

My spiritual "daughter"

I can still remember one of the first times I went to visit Jessica... she excitedly took my hand and took me to her room to show me something. With that simple gesture, she won my heart! We still enjoy our times together, and I'm so glad that she can be a part of my life. I'm so proud of you "Guessga", thanks for being my friend!
Eunika Rollauer

My friend "since Belton"

I met Nika when I was maybe 12 years old, at a hotel swimming pool in Belton, while we were there for a District Convention. We continued to spend time together while at the convention, and it became one of my yearly "highlights" to see her at each convention thereafter. We became pen pals, using codenames for each other from Anne of Green Gables. She was Anne, I was Diane. Somewhere along the line, with all the moves, we lost each other's addresses, and we also were assigned different conventions. We lost contact for years.. and then, miraculously, one day, I got an email from her! She happened to find out we had a mutual friend, and got the info from her. Imagine our excitement the first time we saw each other again in some 9 years! Now we are regularly in touch, and I love her uniquely fun personality and likes. I'm so glad you found me Nika!
Zoe and Marcella De La Cerda

My spiritual support system

It's hard to say exactly how long I've known these girls... our friendship goes back to when my family first moved to the English Congregation. But through all those years, Zoe and Cella have been true friends to me. I remember looking forward to walking around and spending time with them at our yearly conventions. And during a time in my young teenage life when it sometimes felt like I had no true (read- "spiritual") friends that were my age... I always considered them among the few friends I had, even though they were in another town. Girls, you may never know how much I have appreciated your friendship through the years.... but please know that I value you very much, and am so grateful to Jehovah for the support you've given me!
